Not Naturalism!

When Darwin popularized the idea of evolution as a means of explaining the origins of life, he based his theories on the idea of naturalism. Darwin wanted to explain the appearance of design without the designer, which is in its entirety, illogical. The science world has now made sufficient discoveries about the complexity of life, and therefore has doubts about the truth of Darwin's evolutionary ideas. There are many flaws in the argument for naturalism. When Darwin highlighted the idea of natural selection as the mechanism for evolution, he thought that it could explain design- saying that everything happened by chance. One idea that refutes what Darwin thought to be true is the concept of protein formation within the cell. If one single part is missing, or if the protein is not folded correctly, the entire system will fail to function. Due to the complexity, and precise nature of the protein formation process, it is clear to see that this could never have occured due to chance. Therefore, the protein formation process must have a designer, who engineered this protein project from the beginning. Another complex concept that is direct evidence of intelligent design at work is the bacterial flagellum. Biologists are amaxed at the intricate nature of this powerhouse, complete with a motor that allows the bacteria to function. Could this system really be the result of random chance (the idea posed by Darwin and naturalism)? NO! The bacterial flagellum only functions if each piece is working, in the right place. Therefore, natural selection or the gradual evolution of something as sophisticated as the bacterial flagellum cannot be plausible. A third problem with the naturalistic view can be seen simply in the formation of patterns. Words that form sentences, such as "I am typing this UTT blog", can not be passed off as just a random act, becuase I physically formed the sentence in my head, and typed it. This idea is true for all written sentences, like messages in the sand, or chiseled text in a rock. Each letter forms a word when placed in the right order; therefore, the words have to have a "designer" who intentionally designs the words and sentences. This idea points to the existance of intelligent design, because as our world is so complex, it would only make sense to say that an entity created it- that there was a designer. God created the complex world in which we live, and each day He shows us that His grand engineering feat was not created by chance, but by an intelligent designer.
